If you are starting from the Kohima War Cemetery, head south on the main road towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the National Highway 2. Turn left onto the highway and walk for about 800 meters until you see the Jail Colony sign on your left. Turn left onto the road leading to Jail Colony.
