Breathtaking Views at Kuozhü View Point

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Kohima War Cemetery, head southwest on the main road. Walk towards the Old Ao Church, which will be on your left. Continue straight until you reach the junction near the local market. At the junction, turn left onto a smaller road that leads uphill towards Aradurah Hill. Follow this road for about 20-30 minutes. You will pass several local houses and shops. Keep an eye out for signposts that may indicate the direction to Kuozhü View Point. The path will eventually lead you to the viewpoint, which is situated at the top of Aradurah Hill, providing a panoramic view of Kohima.

• Public Transport (local taxi)

  From the Kohima Main Town, you can take a local taxi or shared auto-rickshaw towards Aradurah Hill. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kuozhü View Point. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the nearest drop-off point, you may have to walk the last part uphill. Look for the signs pointing towards Kuozhü View Point, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the drop-off point.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle in Kohima and cycle towards Aradurah Hill. Start from the Kohima Main Town and head towards the Old Ao Church. Continue on the main road uphill. Be cautious, as the roads can be steep and winding. After about 30-40 minutes of biking, you will reach the vicinity of Kuozhü View Point. Park your bike at the nearest spot and walk the last few minutes to the viewpoint.
