If you are starting from the Kohima War Cemetery, head south on the main road towards the state museum. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Nagaland State Transport (NST) Bus Station. At this junction, take a left onto Old NST Road. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. After reaching the Chandmari Colony area, look for signs that indicate Lower PWD Colony. Follow the signs and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. You should see the entrance to Lower PWD Colony on your left.

From the Kohima Main Town area, find an auto-rickshaw at the nearest auto stand. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lower PWD Colony. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you through the main roads, and you can enjoy the views of Kohima during the ride. You will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto Old NST Road. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. As you approach the Chandmari Colony area, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Lower PWD Colony. The entrance should be on your left after about 500 meters of walking.
