Car
If you are driving from the nearest major city, Ratnagiri, take the NH66 highway southward towards Jaigad. The distance is approximately 36 kilometers. Follow the signs for Jaigad and continue on the coastal road. Once you reach Jaigad, look for the signs directing you to the fort, which is located at 862C+5JX, Costal Road, Jaigad, Maharashtra 415614. Parking is available near the fort.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Jaigad by bus, you can take a bus from Ratnagiri to Jaigad. Buses are available from the Ratnagiri bus station, and the journey takes around 1 hour, costing approximately INR 50-100. Once you arrive at the Jaigad bus stop, you can either walk to the fort (about 1.5 kilometers) or hire a local auto-rickshaw for a small fare (around INR 30-50) to take you directly to the fort.
