Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the Leh Main Market. Head north on the main street until you reach the traffic circle. Take the first exit onto Fort Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer, enjoying the local shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Shanti Stupa. Turn left onto Shanti Stupa Road and walk uphill for about 500 meters. Route Ladakh is situated at the end of this road, near the Shanti Stupa.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Leh, especially around the Main Market area. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Fort Road. Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Fort Road. Continue cycling for another 1 kilometer until you reach Shanti Stupa Road. Turn left onto Shanti Stupa Road and cycle uphill for about 500 meters. Route Ladakh will be at the end of the road, near the Shanti Stupa.

Public Bus
From Leh Main Market, walk to the nearest public bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Shanti Stupa or any bus that travels along Fort Road. Get off at the Shanti Stupa stop. From there, walk up Shanti Stupa Road for approximately 500 meters. Route Ladakh is located near the Shanti Stupa at the end of this road. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently.

Auto Rickshaw
Find an auto rickshaw at one of the stands near Leh Main Market. Tell the driver you want to go to Shanti Stupa. The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Shanti Stupa, you can walk up Shanti Stupa Road for about 500 meters to reach Route Ladakh, which is located at the end of the road.
