If you are in the vicinity of Hazratganj, start by heading towards the direction of the Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly). From Vidhan Sabha, take a left onto Raj Bhawan Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Hazaratganj. Take the second exit onto Mahatma Gandhi Marg. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Sapru Marg. From here, take a right onto Sapru Marg, and after about 500 meters, you will see a sign indicating Shahi Bauli Stepwell. Follow the signs towards Machchhi Bhavan, and the stepwell will be on your left.

Flag down an auto-rickshaw from any prominent location like Hazratganj or Bara Imambara. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Shahi Bauli Stepwell near Machchhi Bhavan.' The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the stepwell is easily visible from the main road. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the entrance.
