    If you are in the city center of Madurai, start at the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Head south on North Masi Street for about 800 meters. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kochi - Madurai - Dhanushkodi Road. Turn left onto Kochi - Madurai - Dhanushkodi Road and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Mahatma Gandhi Statue (Gandhi Pottal) on your right, just before reaching Old Kuyavar Palayam Salai.
