Walking
If you are starting from the Meenakshi Amman Temple, exit the temple complex and head south on South Avani Moola Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Mahal Vadampokki Street. Turn right onto Mahal Vadampokki Street and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see the Ten Pillar monument on your left.

From Madurai railway station, hire an auto rickshaw and tell the driver to take you to Mahal Vadampokki Street. It is a short ride of about 2.5 km, which should take around 10 minutes. The driver should drop you off at the intersection of Mahal Vadampokki Street. From there, walk about 500 meters to your left to reach the Ten Pillar.

If you want to take a public bus, head to the Madurai Central Bus Stand. Look for a bus heading towards the Mahal Area or Madurai Main. Get off at the Mahal Vadampokki Street stop. After disembarking, walk about 300 meters down Mahal Vadampokki Street, and you will find the Ten Pillar on your right.
