Vibrant Markets of Madurai(2 Hours Guided Walking Tour)
Highly recommend this trip to see another side to Madurai
Professor Balamadurai was a great guide giving us an entertaining comprehensive visit to Madurai’s markets. The tempting tailors who could make a garment to measure in an hour, mattress makers, flower garlands with their honey bees, wedding jewellery, an alley of bananas, a street of onions, garlic and ginger and finally a glass of Marsala chai in Harish, a busy tea shop selling any type of cake or savoury snack imaginable. We chose this tour to see another side of Madurai and enjoyed his company and interaction with the stallholders. Thoroughly recommend this trip.
