If you are starting from the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, head northwest on East Chitrai Street towards North Chitrai Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with West Chitrai Street. Turn right onto West Chitrai Street and walk until you reach the junction with North Perumal Madalayam Street. Turn left onto North Perumal Madalayam Street and proceed straight until you reach the junction with K.K. Nagar Main Road. From there, take a right onto K.K. Nagar Main Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. Look for signs directing you to Villapuram. Once you reach the area near Rajan Matriculation School, the pond will be nearby.

From the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus heading towards Villapuram. The buses are frequent, and you can ask the conductor to inform you when you reach the Villapuram area. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Rajan Matriculation School, and you will find Villapuram pond nearby.
