If you're driving your own car or renting a vehicle, start from the main market area in Mahabaleshwar. Head east on Mahabaleshwar - Panchgani Road (NH 66) for approximately 1 km. As you approach the junction near Venna Lake, take a left onto the road leading to Wilson Point. Continue for another 1 km until you see Rutba Villa on your right side. There is parking available nearby. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signboards!

For those using public transportation, take a local bus from the Mahabaleshwar bus stand to Venna Lake. The fare is typically around ₹10-₹20. Once you reach Venna Lake, you can either walk to Rutba Villa, which is about a 20-minute stroll (approximately 2 km), or hire a local auto-rickshaw for about ₹50-₹100 to take you directly. If you choose to walk, head northeast along the lakeside road until you reach the junction, then turn left towards Wilson Point and continue for another 1 km.
