From the main bus station in Manali, take a local bus heading towards Rohtang Pass. Buses frequently leave from early morning until late afternoon. The journey takes about 1-2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to inform the conductor that you are getting off at the Rohtang Tunnel stop, which is the last stop before Rohtang Pass.
Auto Rickshaw
You can hire an auto rickshaw from anywhere in Manali. Head to the main market area, where you can easily find one. Tell the driver you want to go to Rohtang Tunnel. The ride should take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as auto rickshaws do not have meters.

Once you find a taxi heading that way, get in and split the fare with other passengers. The journey will take around 1 hour. Ensure to inform the driver to drop you at the Rohtang Tunnel.
