If you're driving from Imphal, head south on NH 2 (also known as the Imphal-Dimapur Road). After approximately 45 kilometers, turn left onto NH 37. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Moirang. From Moirang, follow the signs directing you to Loktak Lake. The view point is approximately 10 kilometers from Moirang, and you will find parking available near the view point. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.

From Imphal, take a bus to Moirang. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Imphal and the journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival in Moirang, you can either hire a local taxi or rent a bike to reach Loktak Lake view point, which is about 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be negotiated beforehand, and expect to pay around INR 300-500 for a round trip. Ensure to check the last bus timings back to Imphal.
