Getting There

  • Train

    Start your journey at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) station. Purchase a ticket for the local train heading towards Churchgate or Marine Lines. The train will take you towards the southern part of Mumbai. Alight at Churchgate station. From Churchgate, exit the station and head towards Marine Drive.

  • Walking

    Once you are at Marine Drive, walk along the promenade which offers a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea. Continue walking north along Marine Drive until you reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Marg. This walk is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-30 minutes. Enjoy the views and atmosphere as you walk.

  • Bus

    At the end of Marine Drive, you will reach the intersection with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Marg. From here, catch a BEST bus (local bus service) heading towards the Colaba area. Look for buses that have stops near 'Colaba Causeway' or 'CST'. Make sure to inform the conductor you are heading to Prong's Lighthouse.

    After alighting from the bus at Colaba, walk towards Prong's Lighthouse which is located near the waterfront in the area. Follow the signs to 'Gateway of India' and then head slightly southeast along the coast. Prong's Lighthouse should be visible as you approach the waterfront.
