    If you are starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST), take a local train on the Central Line towards Kalyan. Get down at the Byculla station. From Byculla, exit the station and take a left onto Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road.

    Continue walking straight on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road until you reach the intersection with Frere Road. Turn right onto Frere Road. Fort George is located at 1, Frere Rd, Mumbai Port Trust, Mazgaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400001, just a short walk ahead on your right.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from CST, you can take a bus from CST Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Mazgaon. You can take bus number 101 or 105. Get down at the Mazgaon Bus Stop. From the bus stop, walk straight down to Frere Road and turn left. Fort George will be on your right.

  • Taxi or Auto-rickshaw

    If you're at a central location like Marine Drive or Gateway of India, you can take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw directly to Fort George. Simply tell the driver to take you to 1, Frere Rd, Mazgaon. The distance is approximately 3-4 km and should not take more than 15-20 minutes in light traffic.
