Local Train
From Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST), take a local train on the Western Line towards Churchgate. Get off at Borivali Station. Once you exit the station, head towards the east exit, and take a taxi or a rickshaw to Laxman Mhatre Rd, I C Colony, Marian Colony. The Mandapeshwar Caves are approximately 3 km from the station, and the ride should take around 10-15 minutes.
Rickshaw
If you are near major tourist areas like Marine Drive or Colaba, take a rickshaw to Borivali. Inform the driver to take you to Laxman Mhatre Rd, I C Colony, Marian Colony. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic, so ensure you have some time to spare.
Bus
Take a BEST bus from CST or any nearby bus stop heading towards Borivali. Look for buses with routes like 337, 340, or 341. Get off at the Borivali Station stop. From there, you can take a rickshaw or walk towards Laxman Mhatre Rd, I C Colony, Marian Colony. It’s about a 3 km journey from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are staying in Borivali or nearby, you can walk to the Mandapeshwar Caves. Start from the Borivali Station and head west towards Laxman Mhatre Rd. Follow the road signs, and you will reach the caves in about 30-40 minutes.
