If you are in the city center of Mysore, start at the Mysore Palace. From the palace, head west on Sayyaji Rao Road. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with D. Devaraja Urs Road. Turn left onto D. Devaraja Urs Road and walk for about 800 meters. You will reach the busy Chamaraja Double Road (also known as Ashoka Road). Cross the road carefully and continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to Kuvempu Vana on your left. The garden is located at 8J5P+9PC, Kukkarahalli, Kajjihundi, Mysuru, Karnataka 570005.
Auto-rickshaw
From anywhere in Mysore, you can take an auto-rickshaw to Kuvempu Vana. Tell the driver to take you to Kukkarahalli. If you are near the Mysore Palace, simply say 'Kuvempu Vana' and they will know the location. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The fare will vary, so it's advisable to negotiate the price beforehand or ensure the meter is running.
Public Transport (Bus)
To reach Kuvempu Vana by bus, first head to the nearest bus stop. Buses marked with routes towards Kukkarahalli will take you close to your destination. Look for buses that go towards the Mysore Medical College or Kukkarahalli. After getting off at the Kukkarahalli stop, walk straight for about 500 meters; the entrance to Kuvempu Vana will be on your right at 8J5P+9PC, Kukkarahalli, Kajjihundi, Mysuru, Karnataka 570005.
