Getting there

Walking

From the center of Rishikesh, head towards Swarg Ashram. Walk along the riverbank toward the Ram Jhula bridge. Cross the bridge and proceed straight. Once you reach the end of the bridge, continue straight on the main road for about 1 km until you reach the main junction. Here, you can ask locals for the direction to Mussoorie or look for signs pointing towards Mussoorie. Follow the signs, and you will eventually reach Kandi Jethuki, where the Jwala Devi Temple is located.

Auto-rickshaw

From anywhere in Rishikesh, hail an auto-rickshaw and tell the driver you want to go to 'Kandi Jethuki' or 'Jwala Devi Temple'. The drivers are familiar with popular destinations, so they should know where to take you. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have cash ready, as not all auto-rickshaws accept digital payments.

Local Bus

Find the nearest bus stop in Rishikesh. Look for buses heading towards Mussoorie or nearby villages. Get on the bus and confirm with the conductor that they will stop at Kandi Jethuki. The bus journey might take around 1 hour, and it is advisable to keep your belongings close. Once you reach Kandi Jethuki, you can walk to the Jwala Devi Temple, which is a short distance from the bus stop.
