Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, the Lake of Bazargaon is located near Bajargaon, Maharashtra. From major cities like Nagpur (approximately 90 km away), take National Highway 44 (NH44) towards Karanja. After about an hour, take the exit towards Bajargaon. Follow the local roads to reach the lake. Be mindful of local traffic and road conditions. There are minimal tolls along this route, so keep some cash handy.

• Bus

  For those opting for public transportation, you can take a bus from Nagpur to Bajargaon. Buses are available from the Nagpur bus stand at regular intervals. The journey takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon reaching Bajargaon, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to take you to the Lake of Bazargaon, which is just a short drive away. The bus fare is approximately INR 100-150.

• Train

  If you prefer traveling by train, the nearest railway station is in Nagpur. From Nagpur, take a train to Karanja Lad, which is the closest station to Bajargaon. Upon arrival at Karanja Lad, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach the lake, which is about 25 km away. Train tickets can range from INR 50 to INR 300 depending on the class of travel.
