Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Guwahati, take National Highway 27 towards Nagaon. After approximately 140 km, turn onto the NH6 towards Hojai. Continue for about 50 km until you reach the town of Nagaon. From Nagaon, take the road towards Umrangso. The Miyungma Daogah Waterfall is located near 29 KILO, approximately 70 km from Nagaon. Use GPS coordinates 25.594827, 92.747278 to navigate directly to the waterfall.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Guwahati, you can take a bus to Nagaon which operates frequently throughout the day. Once you reach Nagaon, you’ll need to find a local bus or shared taxi that goes to Umrangso. Ensure to inform the driver that you want to get off at 29 KILO. The journey from Guwahati to Nagaon takes about 3-4 hours, and from Nagaon to 29 KILO, it takes about 2 hours. The bus fare from Guwahati to Nagaon is approximately INR 300-500.

• Shared Taxi

  After arriving in Nagaon, you can hire a shared taxi to Umrangso. The shared taxis are available near the bus station and can accommodate 4-5 passengers. The fare is around INR 150-200 per person. Make sure to tell the driver you need to get off at 29 KILO for the Miyungma Daogah Waterfall.

• Local Transport (Auto Rickshaw)

  Once you reach 29 KILO, you may need to take an auto rickshaw for the last leg of your journey to get as close to the waterfall as possible. Negotiate the fare before starting the ride; it should cost around INR 50-100 depending on the distance.
