Car
If you are driving from Guwahati, Assam, take National Highway 27 towards Tezpur. The journey is approximately 330 km and takes around 7-8 hours. From Tezpur, continue on the same highway towards Bomdila. After about 30 km, turn left onto the road toward Sela Pass, which will lead you directly to Sela Lake. The lake is about 15 km from the Sela Pass. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the roads can be winding and steep.

Public Transportation
From Guwahati, you can take a bus to Tezpur. The buses are frequent and the journey takes about 6-7 hours, costing approximately INR 300-500. Once in Tezpur, you can hire a shared taxi or an auto-rickshaw to Bomdila. This part of the journey will cost around INR 600-800 and take about 2-3 hours. From Bomdila, you can hire a private taxi to Sela Lake, which will cost around INR 1200-1500 for the 32 km trip.
