Car
If you are driving from Shillong, take the NH6 towards Jowai. The distance is approximately 64 kilometers, which takes around 2 hours. Upon reaching Jowai, follow the signs towards F625+9H7, which is located on the outskirts of the town. Be prepared for a scenic drive through the lush hills of Meghalaya.
Public Transportation
From Shillong, you can take a shared taxi or bus from the taxi stand near Police Bazar. Look for taxis heading towards Jowai. The fare is typically around ₹200-₹300 per person, and the journey will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Jowai, you can take a local auto-rickshaw to reach F625+9H7.
Auto-rickshaw
After reaching Jowai, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to reach Sung Valley. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand, which should be around ₹50-₹100 depending on your negotiation skills and the distance to F625+9H7.
Walking
If you are staying nearby Jowai, you can also walk to Sung Valley from the town center. It is approximately 5 kilometers away. The walk takes about 1 hour and is a great way to enjoy the local scenery.
