If you're driving from Shillong, take the NH6 towards Jowai. Continue on NH6 for about 54 km. When you reach Sohra (Cherrapunji), turn left onto Thangkharang Rd. Follow this road for approximately 8 km, where you will find Thangkharang Park on your right. Ensure that your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations along the way.

From Shillong, you can catch a shared taxi or a bus to Sohra (Cherrapunji). Shared taxis leave from the Police Bazaar area in Shillong. The journey takes about 2-3 hours and costs around ₹100-₹150 per person. Once you arrive at Sohra, hire a local taxi to Thangkharang Park, which should cost around ₹300-₹400 for a round trip. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

If you are already in the vicinity of Sohra, you can opt to walk to Thangkharang Park. The distance from the main Sohra market area to the park is about 8 km.
