  If you are driving from Pahalgam, head southeast on the main road towards Aru. Continue on this road for approximately 12 kilometers. You'll pass through scenic landscapes and might see some small shops along the way. Look for a sign leading to Aru Valley. Once you reach Aru, follow the signs towards Lidder River Valley. The last stretch will lead you directly to the river, where you can find parking available near the riverbank.

• Public Transportation (Taxi)

  From Pahalgam, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Lidder River Valley. The journey takes around 30 minutes and costs approximately INR 500-700, depending on the taxi operator. Ensure you agree on the price before starting your trip. The taxi will drop you off at the riverbank, where you can enjoy the scenic views.
