From the center of Pahalgam, head east on the main road leading towards the Aru Valley. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating the direction to Deno Valley. Turn left onto the smaller road. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach a parking area. Here, you may need to pay a nominal parking fee of around ₹50. From the parking area, Deno Valley is a short hike away, approximately 1 kilometer.

If you prefer traveling by public transport, start at the Pahalgam bus stand. Look for shared taxis or local buses heading towards Aru Valley. The fare should be around ₹30. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Deno Valley. Once you reach the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Deno Valley. Make sure to check the return schedule for the shared taxi or local bus to ensure you can get back to Pahalgam.

For those who enjoy walking, you can trek from the main market area in Pahalgam towards Deno Valley. This scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes. Start by heading towards the Aru Valley on the main road. After about 2 kilometers, take the left turn towards Deno Valley. The total distance is approximately 5 kilometers from the main market, and it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
