The parking area usually has a nominal fee, which can range from ₹50 to ₹100 depending on the duration of parking. After parking, you will need to trek for approximately 12 kilometers to reach Tarsar Marsar. The trek is scenic, taking you through beautiful meadows and alongside streams.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a local taxi or a shared taxi from Pahalgam to Aru Valley. Shared taxis leave from the main market area in Pahalgam and charge around ₹100-₹150 per person. Once you reach Aru Valley, follow the same procedure as with the car: park at the designated area and then embark on a 12-kilometer trek to Tarsar Marsar.
