Car
If you're driving from the center of Pahalgam, head east on Main Market Road towards Aru Valley. Continue for about 2.5 kilometers, then turn left onto the Aru Valley Road. After approximately 6 kilometers, you will reach the Snow Mount Guest House. The trekking and hiking area is located immediately to the right of the guest house, along the trail that leads into the valley.

Public Transportation
To reach the trekking and hiking area via public transport, you can catch a local taxi or shared taxi from the main market area in Pahalgam. Ask the driver to take you to Aru Valley. The fare is typically around 200-300 INR per person. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aru Valley, you will find the Snow Mount Guest House. The trekking trails start right beside the guest house.

Walking
For those who prefer to walk, you can start from the main market in Pahalgam. Head east along Main Market Road, and follow the signs to Aru Valley. It is about a 2.5 km walk to the junction where you will turn left onto Aru Valley Road. From there, it’s another 6 km walk to the Snow Mount Guest House. This walk can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so ensure you have proper walking gear and water.
