Getting There

Walking

If you're starting from the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, head south on Rua da Igreja towards the junction. Take a left onto Av. De Goa, which will lead you to MG Road. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road that leads to Azad Maidan. The landmark to notice is the Goa Police Headquarters on your left. Azad Maidan will be directly opposite this building.

From the Panaji Bus Stand, exit the bus terminal and turn right onto the main road (MG Road). Walk straight for approximately 15 minutes, passing by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the Goa Police Headquarters on your left. Azad Maidan will be just across the street from it, making it easy to spot.

Starting from the Mandovi River promenade (near the Jetty), head east towards the main road. Turn right onto MG Road. Walk along this road for about 20 minutes. You will see the Goa Police Headquarters on your left; Azad Maidan is directly across from this landmark.
