If you are starting from the Panaji Bus Stand, head to the bus stop and look for a bus heading towards Porvorim or Mapusa. The buses are frequent and cost-effective. Alight at the Salvador do Mundo bus stop. From there, walk towards Nisha's Play School, which should be visible from the bus stop. The Houses of Goa Museum is located just a short walk from the school at House No. 674.

You can easily hire an auto-rickshaw from any point in Panaji. Just tell the driver to take you to 'House No. 674, Near Nisha's Play School, Torda, Salvador do Mundo'. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The museum is located very close to the play school.

If you are near the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji, you can walk to the Houses of Goa Museum for a more scenic experience. Start by walking towards the Mandovi River and follow the riverside path until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the junction. Turn left towards Salvador do Mundo. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually see Nisha's Play School on your right. The museum is just a short distance beyond the school at House No. 674.
