Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Panaji Bus Stand, head east on Dr. A. B. Road. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with 18th June Road. Turn left onto 18th June Road and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the Old Patto Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue onto the road that leads to the main highway. Follow the highway towards the direction of Porvorim, keeping the Mandovi River on your left. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Torda. Turn right at the sign and follow the road for approximately 1 kilometer. The museum will be on your left, near Nisha's Play School.

  • Public Bus

    From the Panaji Bus Stand, take the bus heading towards Porvorim. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus stops at Torda. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near Nisha's Play School. From there, walk about 100 meters back along the road, and you will find the Houses of Goa Museum on your left.

  • Auto Rickshaw

    You can hire an auto rickshaw from any point in Panaji. Tell the driver to take you to 'Houses of Goa Museum, near Nisha's Play School, Torda'. The ride should take around 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
