Walking
If you are starting from the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, head south on Rua de Ourem towards Avenida do Dr. R. M. M. D. T. L. de Almeida. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida Dom João de Castro. The Goa State Museum is located at Adil Shah Palace on your left after approximately 300 meters.

From the Panaji Bus Stand, exit the bus terminal and walk straight towards the main road. Take a left onto Avenida do Dr. R. M. M. D. T. L. de Almeida. Walk for about 800 meters until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida Dom João de Castro, and after 300 meters, you will find the Goa State Museum on your left.

If you prefer to take an auto rickshaw, simply inform the driver that you want to go to the Goa State Museum at Adil Shah Palace. Most drivers will know the location. The driver will take you along Avenida do Dr. R. M. M. D. T. L. de Almeida and drop you off right in front of the museum.

Board a local bus that is heading towards Patto Colony from the Panaji Bus Stand. After about 10 minutes, get off at the nearest bus stop to the museum, which is 'Patto Colony.' From there, walk down Avenida Dom João de Castro for about 200 meters, and you will see the Goa State Museum on your right.
