Getting There

    Start your journey from the Panaji Bus Stand (Kadamba Bus Stand). Exit the bus stand and head towards the main road, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road. Walk straight until you reach the junction with 18th June Road. Turn right onto 18th June Road and continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal at the Mandovi River. Here, you can take a ferry to Betim. Once you arrive at Betim, disembark and head straight towards the road leading to the highway. Follow the signs towards Candolim and Aguada. The total walking distance to the ferry terminal is about 1.5 km and the ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes. After reaching Betim, it will take roughly 30 minutes to walk to Aguada, so plan accordingly.

    From the Panaji Bus Stand, take a local bus heading towards Candolim or Calangute. Buses frequently run along this route. Inform the conductor that you are going to Aguada Fort. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to Aguada Fort, you may need to walk approximately 1 km uphill towards the lighthouse. Follow the signs for Aguada Fort, and you will reach the lighthouse located near the fort area.
