Start at the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Panaji. Head southeast towards the main road (D.B. Bandodkar Road) and take a left. Walk along the road until you reach the junction with the Ponda Road. Continue straight onto the Ponda Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the 'Marmagoa Railway Station' area. From there, look for signs that guide you towards Candolim. Follow the signs, which will lead you to Aguada Fort Road. This road will take you directly to Lower Aguada Fort (repaired). The journey will take approximately 45-60 minutes on foot, depending on your pace.

From the Panaji bus terminal, take a bus heading towards Candolim. Confirm with the driver that the bus will stop near Aguada Fort. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Candolim, disembark at the stop closest to Aguada Fort. From there, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to Lower Aguada Fort. Follow the signs leading to 'Aguada Fort Area' or ask locals for directions if needed.
