Walking
If you are starting from the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Panaji, head south on 18th June Road towards the Municipal Garden. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dr. Afonso de Albuquerque Road. Turn right onto Dr. Afonso de Albuquerque Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see a sign for Fontainhas on your left. Turn left into Fontainhas and walk along the narrow streets lined with colorful Portuguese-style houses. Phoenix Spring is located near the end of this quarter, at FRRH+GJH, Mala, Panaji. It should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to walk there.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Kadamba Bus Terminal in Panaji, board a bus heading towards Mala. Ask the conductor for a stop near Fontainhas. Once you arrive, disembark and walk towards the Fontainhas area. Follow the same route as mentioned above, walking along the narrow streets to reach Phoenix Spring. The total travel time is around 30-40 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
Rickshaw
For a more direct route, you can hire a rickshaw from any point in Panaji. Simply tell the driver to take you to Phoenix Spring in Fontainhas, Mala. The rickshaw will navigate through the streets and drop you off close to the entrance of the spring. This option is convenient and should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
