Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
From Kumhrar, head south towards the Patna Museum. As you reach the museum, continue straight onto Ashok Rajpath road. Walk along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the Ganga Riverfront. When you reach the intersection with Pathan Toli, turn left. The Ganga Riverfront will be a short walk ahead on your right.
Auto Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can take an auto rickshaw from any point in Kumhrar. Simply tell the driver 'Ganga Riverfront, Pathan Toli.' The fare should be around ₹50-₹100 depending on your exact location and the traffic. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the price or ask the driver to use the meter if available.
Public Bus
You can also take a public bus to reach Ganga Riverfront. Look for buses heading towards ‘Gandhi Maidan’ or ‘Patna City.’ Get off at the ‘Gandhi Maidan’ stop and then take a short auto rickshaw ride to Pathan Toli. Bus fares are generally around ₹10-₹20. The auto rickshaw ride from Gandhi Maidan to the Ganga Riverfront will cost you another ₹30-₹50.
