If you are in the central area of Pondicherry, start by heading towards the Goubert Market. From there, walk along Rue Saint-Louis Street until you reach the intersection with Maraimalai Adigal Salai. Turn left and continue straight. You will pass several local shops and eateries. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the Anna Statue. The Botanical Garden is located just a short distance from there on your right along Maraimalai Adigal Salai. Look for the entrance to the garden, which will be marked.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Pondicherry. Start your journey from the Promenade Beach area, cycling along Beach Road until you reach the Goubert Market. Continue your ride along Rue Saint-Louis Street, then turn left onto Maraimalai Adigal Salai. Pedal straight for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the Anna Statue on your left; the Botanical Garden entrance will be just a short distance beyond that. Park your bicycle at the designated area before entering the garden.
