Walking
If you are starting from the Promenade Beach area, head south along the beach road towards the Goubert Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the avenue. Take the first exit towards Rue de la Marine. Walk along Rue de la Marine until you reach the junction with Rue de la Compagnie, and turn left. Continue on Rue de la Compagnie until you reach the intersection with Rue Victor Hugo, where you will turn right. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the ECR Road (East Coast Road). Cross the ECR to reach Dubrayapet. The New Light House will be located a short distance ahead on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Pondicherry, preferably near the Promenade. Start from the Promenade and cycle south along Goubert Avenue. Follow the same path as mentioned in the walking directions until you reach the ECR Road. Then, take a right onto the ECR Road and pedal towards Dubrayapet. The New Light House will be a short distance ahead on your right.

Hail an auto-rickshaw from your location in Pondicherry. Inform the driver that you want to go to New Light House in Dubrayapet. The driver will take you through the city, usually via the ECR Road.
