If you are in the central area of Puducherry, start at the famous Promenade Beach. Walk along the beach towards the south until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the road heading east towards the Bharathi Park. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at the end of the park. Here, turn right onto Rue de la Marine. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Caserne. Turn left onto Rue de la Caserne and continue straight until you reach the junction with the Mahatma Gandhi Road. Here, turn right. Keep walking straight and look for the bus stop at the junction with Cuddalore Road. From here, you can catch a local bus heading towards Dubrayapet.

The buses are frequent, and you can ask the conductor to inform you when you reach the New Light House stop. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
