Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Puducherry, start from the famous Promenade Beach. Walk along the beach road towards the north for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Caserne. Turn left onto Rue de la Caserne and continue walking for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Kandappa Mudaliar Street. Turn right onto Kandappa Mudaliar Street, and Sita Cultural Centre will be on your left at number 22.

  • Walking from Aurobindo Ashram

    Begin your walk from the Aurobindo Ashram, which is about 1 kilometer away from Sita Cultural Centre. Exit the Ashram and head south towards Rue de la Caserne. Turn left onto Rue de la Caserne and walk straight for approximately 800 meters. Once you reach the intersection with Kandappa Mudaliar Street, turn right. Sita Cultural Centre is located at 22 Kandappa Mudaliar Street, on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the Pondicherry University. Head towards the east on Aurobindo Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with Rue de la Caserne. Turn right onto Rue de la Caserne and cycle for about 1.2 kilometers. When you reach Kandappa Mudaliar Street, take a left. Sita Cultural Centre will be located at number 22, on your left.

    You can hire an auto-rickshaw from any part of Puducherry. Simply tell the driver to take you to '22 Kandappa Mudaliar Street, White Town.' The drivers are familiar with the area and should be able to drop you off directly at Sita Cultural Centre.
