Walking
Start from the central area of Puducherry, such as the Gandhi Square. Head south towards Rue de la Caserne and then continue straight onto Rue Saint-Louis. Walk until you reach the junction with Rue de la République. Take a right onto Rue de la République and walk until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the second exit onto the Road to Dubrayapet. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signage that mentions New Light House. After reaching Dubrayapet, follow the signs toward New Light House, which is located on the coast. You will see the structure and can walk up to it for a closer view.

Bicycle (Rental)
If you choose to rent a bicycle, start from the central area, such as the Promenade. Head towards ECR Road and cycle south, following the coastal road. After about 2.5 kilometers, turn left at the sign for Dubrayapet. Continue cycling straight until you reach the New Light House. The ride is scenic along the coast and offers beautiful views of the sea.

Take a local bus from the main bus station in Puducherry. Look for buses heading toward Dubrayapet. Buses are frequent, and you can ask locals for the right bus number. Get off at Dubrayapet crossroads. From there, walk towards the coast, following any signs that direct you to New Light House. It is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
