From Promenade Beach, head towards Goubert Avenue. You can start at the entrance of the beach where you see the iconic lighthouse. Walk along the promenade facing the sea and continue until you reach the end of the beach area. Once you reach the road, turn left onto Goubert Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by several cafes and shops along the way. The Old Customs House will be on your right, close to the intersection with Rue Suffren. Look for the building with a distinct colonial architecture, which is hard to miss.

Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from any spot along Promenade Beach. Simply wave at a passing rickshaw or ask at your hotel for assistance in getting one. Inform the driver to take you to 'Old Customs House' on Goubert Avenue. The ride will take around 5 minutes and should cost approximately 30-50 INR, depending on the distance.
