Car
If you're driving, start by heading towards Kapurthala. From Amritsar, take the NH 3 towards Jalandhar and then merge onto NH 703 towards Kapurthala. Once you reach Kapurthala, navigate to C97H+4V6, Kanjli. The wetland area is located a few kilometers from the main city center, and you will see signs leading to it. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to Kapurthala from major cities like Amritsar or Jalandhar. After arriving in Kapurthala, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to reach Kanjli Wetland, which is about 5-7 kilometers away from the bus or train station. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around INR 100-150 depending on the distance and time of day.
Walking
If you're already in Kapurthala and prefer to walk, you can head towards Kanjli Wetland from the city center. The wetland is approximately 5 kilometers away on foot. Follow the local roads, and consider using a map application on your phone for the best route. Be prepared for a scenic walk, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
