If you are driving from the center of Puri, head southwest on Grand Road (VIP Road) toward the Puri-Konark Marine Drive. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers. As you approach the Chilika Lake area, look for signs indicating Nalbana Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at M7RV+5HF, Nalaban, Odisha 752030. There is parking available near the entrance.

From the Puri Bus Stand, take a local bus heading towards Satapada or Chilika Lake. These buses frequently run throughout the day and the ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the conductor that you wish to visit Nalbana Bird Sanctuary. You will be dropped off near the entrance, and from there, it's just a short walk to the sanctuary.
