Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the main market area in Pushkar, walk east along the main road (Pushkar Road) towards the Brahma Temple. Continue past the temple for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to stay on Pushkar Road. After about 500 meters, look for a small path on your left leading uphill. Follow this path, which will take you through some local residential areas. Keep walking up the hill for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a sign that points to Sunrise Point. The path may be a bit steep, so take your time. Once you reach the top, you will be greeted by stunning views of the sunrise.

• Trekking

  For those who prefer a more adventurous route, you can start your journey from the Pushkar Camel Fair Ground. Head towards the hills to the northeast of the fairground. There are some well-marked trekking paths that wind their way up the hills. Follow these trails for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Sunrise Point. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trek can be strenuous.

  If you're uncertain about navigating on your own, consider hiring a local guide. Many guides are available in the main market area who can take you to Sunrise Point. They can also provide interesting insights and stories about the area. Agree on a meeting point and price before you set off. This way, you can enjoy the journey without worrying about getting lost.
