Getting There

• Auto Rickshaw

  If you are starting from the Raipur Railway Station, head to the auto rickshaw stand located just outside the station entrance. Take an auto rickshaw to Budha Talab, also known as Vivekananda Sarovar. Inform the driver to take you to 'Budhapara.' The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will find the entrance to Budha Talab on your left.

• City Bus

  For a more economical option, you can take a city bus from Raipur Bus Stand. Catch any bus heading towards Budhapara. Buses are frequent, but it's best to check the schedule or ask locals for the correct bus number. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Budhapara stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of Budha Talab, which will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the vicinity of Budhapara, you can simply walk to Budha Talab. The area is pedestrian-friendly and well-marked. From the nearest landmark, such as the local market or a hotel, head towards Vivekananda Sarovar. Follow the signs leading to Budha Talab which is located in Budhapara. The stroll should take around 20-30 minutes.

• Cycle Rickshaw

  You can also hire a cycle rickshaw from various points in Raipur. They are a pleasant way to explore the city. Ask the rickshaw puller to take you to Budha Talab at Vivekananda Sarovar. This option will be a bit more leisurely and may take about 25-30 minutes, depending on the starting point.
