Walking
If you are starting from the Ranthambore National Park entrance, head southwest along the main road. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road where you can see a sign pointing towards Ranthambore Fort. Take the left path towards the fort and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will start to see signs leading to the Soleshwar Mahadev Temple. Follow these signs until you arrive at the temple. The entire walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Trekking
For those interested in a more adventurous route, you can hike through the forest trails leading from the Ranthambore Fort area. Starting at the fort, look for trails leading down into the forest. Follow the trail that appears well-trodden towards the southeast direction. This trek can take about 1 hour, so ensure you have a map or a local guide to assist you. The temple is located near the edge of the forest, so keep an eye out for signs or locals directing you towards the Soleshwar Mahadev Temple.
Local Transport (Rickshaw)
From the Ranthambore village center, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw. Instruct the driver to take you to Soleshwar Mahadev Temple. It’s about a 10-minute ride from the village center. The rickshaw will drop you off at a point close to the temple entrance. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, and it should cost around INR 100-150 for a one-way trip.
