Getting there

Walking

From the center of Rishikesh, head towards the Swarg Ashram area. You can start at the iconic Laxman Jhula bridge, which is about a 20-minute walk from the main market area. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Swarg Ashram Road. After about 1 kilometer, you’ll see Yoga Villa Road on your right. Turn right onto Yoga Villa Road and walk for approximately 500 meters. Keep following the road, and you’ll find HimShail WaterFall on your left. The waterfall is a bit off the main road, so look for signs or ask locals if you have trouble locating it.

Rickshaw

You can take a shared auto-rickshaw from the main market area of Rishikesh to Swarg Ashram. Head to the designated rickshaw stand and inform the driver that you want to go to Yoga Villa Road. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Swarg Ashram, ask the driver to drop you off near Yoga Villa Road. From there, walk about 500 meters along Yoga Villa Road, and you will find HimShail WaterFall on your left.

Trekking

For adventure seekers, you can trek to HimShail WaterFall from the nearby hills. Start your journey from the back of Laxman Jhula, where you will find a trail leading towards the hills. Follow the trail, which is moderately challenging and will take you through lush greenery. After an hour of trekking, you will descend towards the waterfall area. Once you reach the base of the waterfall, you can enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility of the place.
