Walking
If you are starting from the Ridge, head down The Mall Road towards Kali Bari Road. The Mall is a pedestrian-friendly area with many shops and cafes. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Kali Bari Temple. Just past the temple, you will see a sign for Bantony Castle on your right. Follow the path leading up to the castle.

From the Shimla Railway Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. Turn right and continue walking towards The Mall. This is a slightly uphill walk, taking around 20-25 minutes. Once you reach The Mall, turn left and follow the same route mentioned earlier towards Kali Bari Road. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Bantony Castle.

If you are at the Lakkar Bazaar area, start walking towards The Mall by heading uphill via the road leading to the Mall. It takes about 15 minutes to reach The Mall. Once on The Mall, turn left and continue walking straight for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Kali Bari Road. Bantony Castle will be on your right after the Kali Bari Temple.
