Getting There
Walking
If you are in the Mall Road area of Shimla, head towards the Ridge. From the Ridge, take the lift or stairs down to the Lakkar Bazaar. Once there, walk towards the railway station and exit towards the Cart Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the Dhalli bus stand. At Dhalli, look for local buses or shared taxis heading towards Kufri. Inform the driver to drop you at Green Valley View. The viewpoint is a short walk from the road.

From the Shimla ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminal), take a local bus heading towards Kufri. The fare is quite affordable. Once you get on the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Green Valley View. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Be attentive as you approach the Dhalli area; the bus will stop near the viewpoint, and from there, it's just a short walk to the viewpoint.
