If you are starting from the center of Shimla, walk towards the Mall Road and head south. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of Mall Road. From the roundabout, take the road that leads towards Ghanahati. Walk for approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will see signs directing you towards Writer's Attic in the village of Shaich. Follow the signs, and the location will be on your left.

The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you get off, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the Writer's Attic, located in the village of Shaich.
