Getting there

Walking

Start at the Mall Road in Shimla, which is a popular tourist hub. From the Mall Road, walk towards the Lakkar Bazaar. Continue straight until you reach the end of the bazaar, where you will find the Shimla Railway Station. From there, you can take a local bus or walk to the Totu area. If you choose to walk, head towards the Totu Power House Road. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Follow the road signs towards New Totu, and keep an eye out for local landmarks to guide you. Once you reach New Totu, look for signs pointing to Sunset Point.

Public Transport (Bus)

From the Mall Road, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Totu. The buses are frequent and relatively inexpensive. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at New Totu. Once you arrive at the New Totu bus stop, exit the bus, and you will need to walk about 10-15 minutes to reach Sunset Point. Head towards Totu Power House Road, and follow the road until you find signs for Sunset Point.

Auto Rickshaw

From the Mall Road, you can easily find auto rickshaws. Negotiate a fare to New Totu, specifically to Totu Power House Road. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, ask the driver to drop you off near the Totu Power House. From there, you can walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach Sunset Point, following signs or asking locals for directions.
